We all remember with affection at least one teacher from our schooldays. No matter how long ago that was or where we went to school someone still stands out for the right reasons. Teachers have such an influence on children it’s only natural we form a bond with them. Indeed how many of us have wished we could go back to thank an old teacher for the time, effort, guidance or understanding they once gave us. For those of us who are now parents ourselves that bond between a teacher and a pupil hasn’t changed; teachers still inspire their pupils. It’s a demanding and difficult profession, looking after other people’s children should never be underestimated, and that's before you factor in all the external pressures many teachers now face.
