Q: How are scented candles made?
A: We make ours in the time-honoured way using paraffin wax and cotton wick to which we add the scent or scents and usually a colour dye. Normally our scented candles are made up of 4% fragrance but some are as much as 6% depending on the scent. We’ve been making candles for over 100 years and we use some very traditional methods and some modern methods too.
