Terms & Conditions for Trade Customers Continued...



Delivery
Subject to stock availability, UK orders will be delivered within 3-5 working days* and International orders will be despatched within 2-3 working days* after you receive your order confirmation. All deliveries need to be signed for. If you miss your delivery, the courier will leave a telephone card in order for you to arrange another delivery date without incurring an extra charge. A next day delivery option is available for UK delivery orders placed before 11am.
Orders placed after 11am can still use the next day delivery option where goods will be delivered a day after unless it's a UK bank holiday or weekend, whereby the goods will be delivered after that.

Deliveries outside the UK may incur additional charges such as local taxes for which you are responsible and payable by you. If you are not sure if extra charges are applicable to you, please contact us.

For all delivery addresses outside the UK you can opt for an Ex-works collection option on payment. We will then contact you with details of delivery and confirmation of delivery options should you wish for Shearer Candles to deliver the order directly to you.

*Working days include Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm and exclude weekends and bank holidays.

Delivery prices are based on your order value excluding VAT.

Damaged goods
Shearer Candles undergo a product quality check before orders are despatched. However, if you receive damaged goods, you must inform us via
websiteorders@shearer-candles.com or + (0)141 445 1066 within 2 days of delivery. When contacting us, please include your order reference number, your name and a description and product code of the damaged items. We also may ask for evidence, such as a photograph of the damaged products. If you wish for a refund for damaged goods, you will be refunded the full amount including the original delivery charges. D
o not accept goods with visible damages.

We shall not be liable to pay any money to you by way of compensation, other than any refund.

Refund policy
If, after we have accepted an order from you, you wish to withdraw from the contract then you may do so by informing us no later than 7 working days after the date of delivery of the products. If you notify us that you wish to cancel the order we shall reimburse the payment made by you within 30 days of notification. If you notify us that you wish to cancel the order, and we have already delivered the product(s) to you, then you should return the product(s) to us at your own cost. If you do not return the product(s) to us and we are required to collect them from you we shall be entitled to recover our costs of doing so. Provided that the product(s) are returned in the same condition as when we supplied them to you, we shall reimburse all sums paid by you for those product(s) excluding any costs of delivery or any costs of recovery of the product(s) (where appropriate). No penalty will apply in such circumstances.

To obtain a refund, simply send us an email websiteorders@shearer-candles.com or call us on +44 (0)141 445 1066, stating your order reference number, your name, the items you would like to return and the reason for refund. On approval, you are then responsible for sending back the goods clearly stating your order reference number and name. Once the goods have been received, the refund will be processed.

When returning items you are recommended to keep a proof of posting. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery. We will not accept responsibility for lost or damaged parcels.
